Looking for an appliance now a days can be quite daunting. The market is full of options that sometimes can make the process less enjoyable. Now we aren’t just talking about large appliances, but even the smaller ones can be overwhelming. For example a toaster is essential for a household. You may wonder how many different types could there actually be? Well, there are a lot. Our advice is try to narrow it down a bit before you go out and shop for one. Decide on a color, size, and perhaps brand. This will help make the process quick and easy.

Large appliances such as washers and dryers come in many different colors and sizes, with some being able to save on energy costs as well. When it comes to washers and dryers, top loading tend to use much more energy, which is why front loading washers and dryers are more expensive. At the end of the day they save you money on your energy bill. However if you’re ok with paying a bit more per month so that you can get a less expensive washer and dryer upfront, then hey why not.

Another thing to consider is how you will pay for your new appliance. There are different ways of buying appliances. either cash money up front, or financing. If you can, do both. Put some money down that you are comfortable with so that the portion you are financing can be less per month, and will overall keep you from paying way more in accumulated interest.

Another option would be renting or leasing the appliance. The drawback is that you will inevitably pay more for the appliance in the long run than just paying it all upfront. Don’t let that be a deal breaker though, there are positive aspects to renting or leasing your next appliance. Many of the rental establishments have a 90 days same as cash plan that you can take advantage of. This means if you pay it off in 90 days or less, You have just payed retail price. You can also get a plan where you are contracted for 24 months on an item, that comes with warranty during the entire life of the contract. Many also have free delivery. Not a bad deal hu?

At the end of the day you have options. Make a plan, figure out what is best for you and/or your family, and what you are financially able to do, then go and get it.

Of course you can always call us if you just want to get it fixed. lol sorry we had to.
